# Merging veSAIL

When multiple veSAIL locks are held, they can be merged into a single position to consolidate voting power, reduce gas costs, and simplify management. The merge process preserves all locked tokens and their combined time-weighted voting power.

## How to Merge veSAIL

    Navigate to the **veSAIL** Page from the navigation bar.

  <Step title="Select Manage, then Merge" stepNumber={2}>
    Select the **Manage** on the veSAIL lock that you intend to merge, then select **Merge**.

  <Step title="Select lock to merge with">
    Select the lock that you want to merge with, then select **Merge Lock** to merge the two veSAIL locks.
